High school diploma or equivalent with 1 year of post-secondary enrollment or 1 year of related experience. Preference for interest in transportation, enrollment in technology/survey/geomatics programs, completion of surveying courses, and experience with MicroStation or Autocad. Must be able to withstand outdoor worksite conditions and perform tasks requiring long-term standing/repetitive motions.

The survey intern will assist in the preparation of construction details, design plans, reports, and meeting exhibits using computer software. They will transfer information from various sources to create final plans and maps. They will also visualize and illustrate concept designs in 2 or 3 dimensions, utilizing mathematics and performing tasks under supervision.
