Requirements

  • On track to achieve a 2:1 or above
  • Working towards a master’s level degree in engineering or the built environment
  • Required to take part in a year out placement as part of your university course
  • Have a passion for improving the built environment
  • Be interested in design and sustainable design principles
  • With a real passion for sustainable design, you’re organised and methodical in your approach to managing your tasks and priorities, you strive to meet deadlines and have a close appreciation of the commercial factors which affect design solutions.

Responsibilities

  • You will find yourself working on projects that fall within the following workstreams:
  • Building physics and parametric model services
  • Building performance and operational energy optimisation
  • Certification and compliance
  • Health and wellbeing advice and guidance
  • Net zero and whole life carbon services
  • Sustainability design and ESG services
  • With the opportunity to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop over time, you’ll be supported and encouraged to work towards Chartership through one of our accredited training schemes.
