You will work onsite at a Viasat office location for the duration of your internship.
What is the eligibility criteria for this internship?
You must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field and your final graduation date must fall between December 2025 and June 2026.
What skills are required for this internship?
Required skills include experience with Object Oriented Programming, the ability to pick up new software, strong communication and teamwork skills, excellent software design, problem solving, and debugging skills, and a desire to learn Linux.
Are there any specific programming languages that are preferred?
Experience with Python is preferred, along with familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and knowledge of TCP/IP network fundamentals.
Is housing and relocation assistance available for interns?
Yes, housing and relocation assistance are available to interns pending eligibility.
What are the available internship cohorts?
There are two cohorts: Cohort 1 runs from May 20th, 2025 to August 15th, 2025, and Cohort 2 runs from June 17th, 2025 to September 12th, 2025.
What is the salary range for this internship?
The hourly salary range is $20.91 - $56.97, and for specific locations in the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the range is $25.96 - $67.07.
What kind of projects will the intern be involved in?
The intern will be involved in integrating cutting-edge software and system features, as well as automating interactions with modem software to support continuous deployment to production users.
