Requirements

  • Must be a currently enrolled student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to the internship
  • Must have completed (at minimum) the sophomore year of college
  • Must have a current GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Must be able to work full-time hours during the summer months, with the possibility of continuing the internship on a part-time basis (5-15 hours/week) during the school year
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to effectively coordinate projects across multiple departments
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to effectively present information in small groups
  • Ability to independently research and troubleshoot in order to achieve objectives

Responsibilities

  • Post job advertisements on the careers page and also external sites
  • Schedule phone interviews, coordinate panel and face-to-face interviews, and schedule candidate debriefs
  • Sourcing passive candidates off of external platforms such as LinkedIn and Indeed in order to fill vacancies and also build candidate pools
  • Further campus recruiting efforts by planning and coordinating career fairs and furthering relationships with career development departments at select universities
  • Partner with Digital Marketing and Human Resources to further promote Bio-Techne’s career offerings on social media platforms
  • Partner with marketing to create brand promotion flyers and resources
  • Research strategies to further promote the Bio-Techne brand within the local community
  • Create and implement talent acquisition strategies to proactively build candidate pools of frequently staffed positions
  • Assist with coordinating internal career promotion events and opportunities
  • Interview candidates for non-exempt positions
  • Create guides, resources, and training for the purpose of Hiring Manager training materials
  • Additional duties as assigned
