Requirements

Currently enrolled as a Sophomore or Junior seeking a Bachelor of Accounting, preferred
Must have excellent computer knowledge of Excel
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred

Responsibilities

Review and research unclaimed property such as old outstanding checks.
Determine whether property should be returned, retained or escheated based on payees address.
Maintain and update detail accounts to reflect current balances.
Assist on various tax department projects as required.
Run departmental reports as assigned.
Assist internal customers with questions.
Assist with sales tax audit defense.
Assist with the preparation and filing of sales tax returns.
Regular and reliable attendance required
