Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Data, Business/Commerce or related field
  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Suite, and collaborative software such as WebEx and MS Teams
  • Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills are required to analyze risk events and draw conclusions
  • Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic and deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and acute attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for providing a broad range of risk analysis, reporting and/or support to business partners and acting as a specialist/expert in providing guidance/ advice on a range of risk and regulatory related matters as well as supporting the Doc and Communications team by developing and management of customer letters, script language, forms, and certificates of insurance.
  • Supporting risk events and remediation efforts which will include identifying & evaluating risk for each event and proposing remediation plans as well as supporting with delivery of identified solution. This will require creative “out of the box thinking“ and ability to solution on complex situations
  • Participates in managing risk activities such as KRI, RCSA, PRCSA and Action Plan reporting for the business
  • Responsible to coordinate any internal self assessments and facilitate internal audit, Compliance Testing or other oversight risk related activities
  • Supporting the Doc & Communications team on projects which will include drafting external and internal communications and collaterals by leveraging industry standards and guidelines
  • Promote a strong risk management culture and ensure the business operates within the Bank’s risk appetite
  • The role provides opportunities to contribute to optimizing business processes that support all the forms of customer communications, including the development and management of customer letters, script language, forms, and certificates of insurance. This role is best suited for an enthusiastic professional with a positive "can do" approach, who will proactively execute on the documentation mandate.
