What is the duration of the internship program?
The internship program lasts for 12-13 weeks.
When are the internship start dates?
There are two options for start dates: Cohort 1 runs from May 20th, 2025, to August 15th, 2025, and Cohort 2 runs from June 17th, 2025, to September 12th, 2025.
Are housing and relocation assistance available for interns?
Yes, housing and relocation assistance are available to interns pending eligibility.
What level of education is required for this internship?
Candidates must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, engineering, or a related field.
What technical skills are required for the internship?
Knowledge of networking protocols, experience with Linux environments, debugging and troubleshooting skills, as well as programming/scripting skills in languages like Perl, Python, C, or C++ are required.
What kind of projects will I be involved in as an intern?
You will work on testing user experiences for inflight connectivity and entertainment solutions, and collaborate with engineering teams to build and perform various tests in an agile, continuous integration environment.
Do I need to work on-site for this internship?
Yes, the internship requires you to work onsite at a Viasat office location for the full duration of the program.
Is there flexibility in work arrangements?
Viasat embraces a flexible work environment, and onsite/hybrid work is determined based on individual roles and teams.
What kind of knowledge will I gain from this internship?
