What is the duration of the Traffic Engineering Internship?
The Traffic Engineering Internship is a temporary position scheduled for 12 weeks, starting on May 19th, 2025.
Where is the internship located?
The internship is primarily based in the Miami, FL office, but candidates from Orlando, Tampa, Tallahassee, and Sunrise will also be considered.
Is there any relocation or housing assistance provided for the internship?

What are the required qualifications for this internship?
Candidates must be actively enrolled in an accredited Traffic Engineering or related Undergraduate program with an anticipated graduation date of August 2025 or later, must be 18 or older, have a demonstrated interest in Traffic Engineering, and possess competent interpersonal and communication skills.
What software skills are preferred for this internship?
Preferred qualifications include experience using AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Microsoft Office applications.
Do interns receive mentorship during the program?
Yes, interns gain mentorship and networking opportunities through WSP's Developing Professionals Network.
What responsibilities will the intern have?
Interns will support a variety of engineering tasks, assist with project research, field work, preliminary design calculations, prepare final design plans, and maintain project documentation, among other responsibilities.
Is authorization to work in the United States required to apply?
Yes, candidates must have authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship.
Are there any specific policies interns need to adhere to?
Yes, interns must adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures, including health, safety, drug/alcohol, and harassment policies.
Is this position open to graduate students as well?
