What qualifications do I need to apply for the Trainee Dialysis Assistant position?
You will need an NVQ or apprenticeship Level 2 in Adult Health Care.

How long does it take to complete the training competencies?
Completing the training competencies may take up to 6 months.
What are the main responsibilities of a Trainee Dialysis Assistant?
Main responsibilities include setting up and maintaining a safe area for dialysis, preparing haemodialysis machines, using Personal Protective Equipment correctly, and assisting with the commencement and discontinuation of haemodialysis treatment.
