What is the duration of the Trainee Nurse Associate Apprenticeship?
The Trainee Nurse Associate Apprenticeship is a two-year course.
Will I be paid during the apprenticeship?
Yes, you will be paid in line with agenda for change trainee pay, receiving 70% of the top of band 4 salary in your first year and 75% in your second year.
Are there opportunities for further study after completing the apprenticeship?
Yes, after successfully completing the course, you may have the opportunity to continue your studies to become a Registered Nurse, subject to performance, attitude, and a successful interview.
Where are the posts available for this apprenticeship?
The posts are available at Lancaster, Kendal, and Barrow bases, with placements that will be cross bay.
Can I have a pay protection if I am already employed by UHMBT?
Yes, if you already work for UHMBT, there may be an opportunity for pay protection.

The main hospitals involved are Furness General Hospital (FGH) in Barrow, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), and Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) in Kendal.
