Requirements

  • Candidate must be pursuing a bachelor's or master’s Degree in the Civil Engineering field at an ABET accredited university, or pursuing a graduate degree in Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Transportation Science or Transportation Planning

Responsibilities

  • Foundational understanding of the consulting engineering business
  • Team communication and collaboration for civil engineering projects
  • Application of college course material in a real-world project
  • Assembling engineering calculations in a project setting and applying the quality control process to those calculations
  • Development of construction cost estimates and material and labor quantities used to estimate project costs
  • Familiarity with Microsoft office suite including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Teams
  • Familiarity with industry and discipline specific software including drafting utilizing MicroStation and other Bentley products, and other engineering modeling software such as Synchro, HCS, and / or PTV Vissim
  • Actively engages multiple perspectives when solving problems, seeks to learn from peers, and encourages reciprocal learning among team members.
