Requirements

  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of or interest in learning ArcGIS, Synchro
  • Knowledge of or interest in learning AutoCAD or Microstation
  • 3.0 GPA or higher preferred
  • 2+ years completed toward degree
  • Students with at least one prior internship in the transportation industry preferred.

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
  • Attention to detail
  • Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills

As a Transportation Planning Intern, you will work on multiple projects serving clients in the New England area, such as NHDOT, Mass DOT, and MBTA. Projects include traffic and transit studies, Complete Streets assignments, evaluation of Bus Rapid Transit plans, Bicycle and Pedestrian projects, and possibly assisting with FTA and FHWA grant applications.
