What are the responsibilities of the Transportation Planning Intern?

What qualifications are needed for this internship?
Applicants must be actively pursuing a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field, have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, be a motivated self-starter with strong communication skills, and reside near Miami, FL.
Is this internship paid?
Yes, this is a paid internship. AYPTIs will receive a fair and competitive wage in comparison to market standards.
When does the Academic Year Part-Time Internship occur?
The internship typically starts near the beginning of the Fall 2024 semester. Extensions may be granted based on performance, and graduating interns may be offered an entry-level position at the end of their term.
Is this internship remote?
While some tasks may be performed remotely, the expectation is that the student will work on-site for up to 29 hours per week. Most AYPTIs will average 15-20 hours per week on-site.
