A Master's in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related science is required, along with a recent graduate status, a GPA greater than 3.3, and a strong interest in compressors or pumps.
Is there any preference for applicants with advanced degrees?
Yes, a Ph.D. in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or a related science is preferred.
Will I receive training during the internship?
Yes, you will attend onsite/online training classes to sharpen your turbomachinery fundamental skills and improve your software knowledge.
Do I need prior experience with specific software?
Experience with in-house software like AxSTREAM and AxCYCLE is preferred, but not required.
Will I have the opportunity to participate in industry events?
Yes, interns will participate in conferences, trade shows, and animate technical webinars.
What skills are important for this position?
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a strong theoretical background in turbomachinery principles, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer are important.
