Requirements

  • Masters in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related science
  • Recent graduates with GPA> 3.3 and strong interest in compressors/pumps
  • Strong theoretical background in to turbomachinery principles, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat transfer
  • Ability to pay attention to details and strong organization skills
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ph.D in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related science
  • Experience with in-house software like AxSTREAM/AxCYCLE

Responsibilities

  • Support global team on all steps of the turbomachinery design and analysis process
  • Develop test cases and perform validation on aero-thermodynamic and mechanical studies using in-house software AxSTREAM and AxCYCLE for design, analysis and optimization of turbines, pumps and compressors as well as cycles
  • Write technical publications based on internal results and improve existing documents
  • Attend onsite/online training classes to sharpen turbomachinery fundamental skills and improve the software
  • Participate at conferences and trade shows and animate technical webinars
  • Develop and deliver software demonstrations to prospect and current clients
