Requirements

  • Must be enrolled as a full-time student in a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree program, or graduated in the past 12 months from an accredited institution. Candidates who have earned a degree may work for a period not to exceed 12 months. Must have a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative grade point average.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong preference is given to students enrolled in ENRGE consortium institutions (Navajo Technical University, Alabama A&M University, Florida International University), or students enrolled in other Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs) or Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs).

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with cybersecurity testing either using hardware equipment or in virtualized environment
  • Simulation and emulation of experiments related to cybersecurity and resilience using NREL Cyber Range
  • Data analysis, virtualization, visualization, and reporting
  • Performing literature reviews and background research
  • Publishing research results in reputable conferences or journals
