Requirements

  • These eleven-month placements are for students who need to complete a placement as part of their degree. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals on live and interesting projects. So you’ll get a good insight into working life at PwC
  • What You'll Need:
  • You'll need to have achieved or be on track to pass an undergraduate degree or above in any subject. We determine whether you're on course to pass based on the grades you achieved in your last completed year of academic study.
  • To be a second year undergraduate university student on a four-year degree expecting to do a work placement in your third year.
  • Experience in software engineering or ML model development on a machine learning team in an academic or professional environment
  • Ideally to have written blog posts and/or social media threads that explore and push the limits of open or closed source LLMs such as Llama, GPT4, Claude, etc
  • Willingness to try new things, document and learn from them, and iterate quickly
  • Ability to work autonomously in the self-directed, fast-paced environment of a startup
  • A curious mind and a proactive, kind, and collaborative approach to your work

Responsibilities

  • Build, train ML models with our subject matter experts to drive workloads
  • Build and maintain both our Generative AI and deep-learning integrations
  • Attend educational webinars and occasionally travel to meetups and conferences
  • Collaborate with our Product team to provide product feedback and test early prototypes for our new ML & AI features
