What will my responsibilities be as a Business Placement Student?
As a Business Placement Student, you'll work on various client research projects, helping to design and implement research methods, review and analyze data, create client-ready reports, present findings, and participate in team meetings and training.
Do I need prior experience in research to apply?
While experience in research is not necessary, it's ideal if you have an interest in research methodologies and a curiosity about analyzing trends in data and behavior.
What qualifications do I need to apply for this position?
You need to have achieved or be on track to pass an undergraduate degree in any subject, and you must be a second-year undergraduate university student on a four-year degree expecting to do a work placement in your third year.
What skills will I gain from this work placement?
You'll gain experience using various technology and data tools, develop quantitative and qualitative research skills, learn to craft client-ready reports, and gain knowledge about the sectors in which PwC Research clients operate.

You will work with market-leading software for data collection, analysis, and reporting, including tools for scripting online surveys and designing dashboards.
What is the expected duration of the placement?
The placement is expected to take place during Autumn 2025 as part of your third year in a four-year undergraduate degree program.
