Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the creation and cohesion, commercially viable ranged across multiple departments within Womenswear, that meets business requirements across the UK and EU for stores and online.
  • Researching and identifying emerging trend messages that inspire and contribute to seasonal concept boards and multiple departmental ranges.
  • Demonstrating a passion for the product and a knowledge of how trends evolve using natural creative flair
  • Building relationships with buying and merchandising teams to understand the creation of a well-rounded range and the multiple processes involved.
  • Assisting in the design of products which exceed the Urban Outfitters’ customers’ expectations of the brand, whilst remaining commercial in approach.
  • Supporting the Design team in the development of CAD packs including measurement specifications and clear fabric and trim references
  • Building an understanding of the critical path and the importance this holds.
  • Supporting the Design team in the compilation of creative presentation decks and catwalk analysis reports.
