Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for projects and provide ideas to grow and improve the service.
  • Ability to document IT infrastructure and environments.
  • Learns and becomes proficient on internal systems.
  • Able to work in Global environment and culture, with flexible hour concept.
  • Ability to convince, organize and negotiate.
  • Accepts designated, business-focus projects to research, propose ideas and solutions.
  • Adequate project management skills and ability to manage time and complex tasks.
  • Confidence to challenge and disrupt commonly held service and internal processes.

  • Understands the overall concept of the company, including the brand and our customer.
  • Main Activities:
  • Create and maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
  • Prepare reports on system performance, incidents, and resolutions.
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment onboard vessels.
  • Act as point of escalation from business.
  • Assist in maintaining and monitoring onboard communication systems, including satellite communications.
  • Help ensure reliable connectivity between vessels and shore-based operations.
  • Contribute to IT projects aimed at improving vessel operations and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the IT and vessel operations teams on various initiatives.
  • Evaluate new or innovative technologies and architectures.
  • Produce user guides as required and ensure other team members and business associates are fully trained in the procedures.
  • Resolution of service desk requests as necessary & hardware support.
  • Any other duties prescribed by BRM Senior Manager.
