Requirements

  • The qualifications listed below represent the credentials necessary to perform the essential functions of this position:
  • Passion to work in video production/motion graphics/animation field
  • Hardworking, dedicated and organized
  • Creativity, enthusiasm and willingness to learn on the fly while using prior knowledge in fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Strong communications/media background is preferred
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and use discretion when privy to sensitive information
  • Familiarity with the following programs & equipment is required:
  • Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Intermediate ability in Adobe Premiere or other video editing software
  • Intermediate ability in After Effects & Photoshop
  • Working knowledge of a 3D program is preferred (Cinema 4D, Maya, Blender)
  • Prosumer Cameras and DSLR Cameras
  • Production equipment (Lighting, tripods, green screens, etc.)
  • Microsoft Office and other computer software

Responsibilities

  • Execution of pre-production schedule including video & audio editing as well as motion graphic design
  • Create visual content for video features and motion graphics for in-game and in-arena broadcast
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Digital Media and Animation departments
  • Pre-production organizing and planning for coverage of off-site events and community relations-based initiatives
  • Execution of production orientated tasks leading up to and on home game days
  • Aiding in the post-production process of exporting videos to team’s website, social channels, etc.
  • Copywrite and transcription of interviews, recaps and previews
  • Assist with special projects, as assigned by the Digital Media Department
  • Engage in the full internship program, including workshops, speaker series, job shadow opportunities and work closely with fellow interns to successfully complete and present the intern project
