The externship program lasts for 3 weeks.

The program dates are January 28th, 29th, 30th, and February 4th, 5th, 6th, with an additional session on February 11th, 12th, and 13th.
Is the program paid?
No, the program is an unpaid educational experience; however, participants who complete the program will receive priority during the following internship recruiting season.
What qualifications are required to apply for the externship?
Applicants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, preferably as sophomore students graduating in 2027, and have access to a computer with a reliable internet connection for virtual sessions.
What are the preferred skills or qualifications?
Preferred qualifications include strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a curiosity about the insurance industry and eagerness to learn about underwriting and risk analysis.
What kind of professional development can participants expect?
Participants will engage in professional development sessions, receive mentorship from seasoned professionals, and develop foundational skills in communication, problem solving, and decision-making.
Will participants receive any certification upon completion of the program?
Yes, participants will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the externship.
