Description

  • As a Warehouse Management System Intern you will play an active role in the operation of a fast paced multi-million-dollar distribution center. For 12 weeks during the summer, you will join our Warehouse Management System team in a variety of our distribution centers across the US and receive an exceptional experience through a mix of on-the-job training, project management experience and ongoing mentorship from your leadership team. 

Through this internship, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Learn from and shadow distribution leaders.
  • Gain exposure to the full lifecycle of our distribution model
  • Participate and contribute to process improvement initiative.
  • Provide insights and collaborate with business partners and leaders.
  • Actively participate in advising specific functions within the Distribution Center
  • Interns will be given the opportunity to manage and lead a process improvement project that supports a key facility/organizational initiative and give a final presentation to the US executive leadership team upon completion of the internship.   

Requirements

  • Rising Juniors and Seniors that are currently enrolled in a 4-yr. program and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in logistics, operations management, supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, or business management/administration.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Strong analytical thinking and sophisticated problem-solving skills
  • Confidence and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to organize work tasks and work independently or as part of team.
  • Team-oriented thinking with enthusiasm for continuous learning
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications in MS Office
  • A willingness to work flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays) as needed and regular work attendance required.
  • Ability to travel up to 90% nationally.
  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
