Description

  • Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP is looking for a Web Developer Intern to support the Applications Development Group and Information Technology department Willkie is an elite international law firm of approximately 1,200 lawyers located in 14 offices in six countries. 
  • The Web Developer Intern will participate in various phases of the software development life cycle. This role will work with the team to understand the business requirements, conceptualizing and creating wireframe/prototypes, flushing out approved designs, and full end-to-end testing of builds for custom applications to support strategic and innovative initiatives.
  • The intern will gain valuable hands-on experience in a law firm environment. Candidates must be willing to work Monday through Friday starting June 3, 2024 through August 9, 2024. While this role is primarily remote, interns are welcomed to attend in-person events at their local office.

Requirements

  • Must be comfortable with both Mac and Windows based platforms
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, Adobe CS and responsive web design
  • Experience with back box, end-to-end and various either types of testing methods
  • Experience with JIRA or other tracking tools is highly preferred
  • Experience with UI prototyping tools like InVision or sketch is a plus
  • Must be in the process of completing an associates or undergraduate degree
  • ADA Requirements:
  • Ability to sit at a desk most of the working day and walk short distances.
  • Needs manual dexterity, speed and accuracy in handling office equipment.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption.
  • Ability to work in close proximity to other individuals.
  • Ability to carry light to moderate objects, e.g., files, small objects and supplies a short distance.
  • Must be able to lift, carry and move objects up to 20/25 lbs.
