Responsibilities

  • Cost Estimation: Provide cost estimate for new aircraft system design and production, contribute to the decision of which system solution, design or concept represents the best value for the development.
  • Gap Analysis: Perform an analysis to explain the difference between Costing estimates and suppliers quotes. The result will give Airbus levers to deal with suppliers in negotiations.
  • Modeling: Develop cost models (Landing Gear, System Test, Fuel System, etc.)
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate findings and updates to various stakeholders, both verbally and in written form.
  • Learning and Development: Participating in training sessions to enhance skills in cost estimation, project management, and leadership.
  • Travel to other Airbus sites or suppliers if required.
