Requirements

  • You are enrolled during the entire period of activity at a state-recognized university as a regular student (pursuing a degree in economics, business studies, law or other relevant fields) and have completed at least 4 semesters
  • Ideally, you have already gained first practical experience through internships in other multinational companies
  • You have a strong interested in the functioning of financial and capital Markets, the workings of the Eurosystem and post-trade services)
  • You enjoy working in a team and collaborating with colleagues of different backgrounds and skillsets. At the same time, your ability to work independently and very good analytical skills help you to quickly familiarise yourself with new topics
  • While in your work you have the big picture in mind you also maintain attention to detail
  • You have very good knowledge in the MS Office suite and know how to work with Sharepoint. Ideally you have gained first experience with business intelligence software and automation of tasks
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English, additional German language skills will be an advantage

Responsibilities

  • As a member of the team, you will gain first-hand insights into the interaction of the Eurosystem with Clearstream in various aspects such as outsourcing activities, regulatory and policy matters, and project work in post-trade market infrastructures
  • You can further develop your researching skills by analysing topics relevant to the team, e.g. Capital Markets Union, Post-Trade harmonisation, Settlement Efficiency, T+1 Settlement
  • Furthermore, you will support the team by preparing briefing notes and presentations for internal and external use
  • You will assist the team in its self-organisation (supporting the communication and management of deliverables with e.g. the European Central Bank, organisation & documentation of regular team meetings, supporting in organisation of events)
