Job Description: GSL is seeking a dedicated and experienced 1:1 SEND Tutor to join a school in Sheffield. As a SEND Tutor, you will be responsible for providing tailored academic support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This role involves creating personalized learning plans, delivering engaging lessons, and monitoring progress closely. The ideal candidate should have a background in education, experience working with SEND students, and strong interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities


 * Develop and implement individualized learning strategies based on students' needs.
 * Deliver engaging and effective tutoring sessions in accordance with the student's learning plan.
 * Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
 * Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support the student's educational goals.
 * Maintain accurate records and reports of tutoring sessions and student progress.
   
   

Requirements


 * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
 * Experience working with students with SEND, ideally in a tutoring or teaching capacity.
 * Strong knowledge of SEND support strategies and educational best practices.
 * Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and caregivers.
