Responsibilities

  • As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across various subject areas. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Classroom Support: As a Teaching Assistant you will assist teachers in delivering engaging and interactive lessons, providing one-on-one support to students, and facilitating small group activities.
  • Individualized Learning: As a Teaching Assistant you will assist you will work closely with students who require additional support, adapting teaching materials, and providing targeted interventions to ensure all students reach their full potential.
  • Behaviour Management: Assisting in maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting respectful behaviour, and implementing behaviour management strategies.
  • Assessments and Progress Monitoring: Supporting teachers in assessing student progress, providing feedback, and recording student data to inform teaching strategies and interventions.
  • Extra-Curricular Involvement: Contributing to the wider school community by assisting in extracurricular activities, such as clubs, sports events, and school trips, fostering student engagement and personal development.
