Responsibilities

  • Research and analyze music trends, emerging artists, and new releases across various platforms (e.g., Spotify, TikTok, YouTube, SoundCloud).
  • Monitor industry charts, playlists, and social media for potential talent.
  • Assist in compiling detailed reports on prospective artists and songwriters, including audience engagement and performance data.
  • Maintain and update an artist discovery database for the A&R team.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, studio sessions, and listening sessions for the A&R team.
  • Communicate with artists, producers, and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Manage and update project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Book, Track and process A&R-related expenses, including travel, studio sessions, and promotional activities.
  • Prepare expense reports and ensure all costs align with the allocated budget.
  • Liaise with the finance department to ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • Organize and maintain A&R files, including contracts, agreements, and demo submissions.
  • Respond to inquiries and demo submissions professionally and efficiently.
  • Provide general administrative support to the A&R team as needed.
