  • You have completed a commercial or hotel management apprenticeship and already have sound experience in the field of book keeping/accounting ( at least 2 years)

Responsibilities

  • You review and process the daily financial statements
  • You are mainly responsible for our accounts payable and accounts receivable staff and all of their questions and tasks
  • You prepare reports & statistics and take care of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • You will support with internal and external audits and always adhere to Marriott policies
  • You communicate professionally with colleagues, customers and guests, personally, by phone and in writing
  • You perform controls of cost center, cost type and cost unit accounting according to German and international accounting standards (HGB and Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry)
  • You actively support your team and trainees
  • You report and document discrepancies that come to your attention
  • You are absolutely trustworthy, and all confidential data is safe with you
  • You take over project tasks and contribute your own ideas
  • You are a competent contact person for the hotel teams in all questions of operational accounting
