Responsibilities

  • Should support Legal & Administrative activities of Legal Department.
  • Should possess strong communication, team building, and quantitative, analytical, systems, managerial and technological capabilities.
  • Assisting in the implementation of legal department strategic initiatives, managing the non-legal activities within the legal department, such as financial analysis and reporting, planning and budgeting, oversight of the financial accounting system and internal controls, outside service management, and intra-company facilitation.
  • Works with defined legal processes and legal team to initiate Vendor Registration, raise PRs, POs, prepare GRR, raise NFA’s for all entities of Cummins.
  • Initiate payments relating to board meeting, AGM and Directors.
  • Tracking of the invoice raised and maintaining payment data to external vendors - BU wise/all entities, generating reports.
  • Managing and maintaining LOA/POA with the help of team.
  • Answers telephones, screens calls and takes messages so callers/visitors are dealt with promptly, courteously and accurately.
  • Transcribes, types, formats and proofreads a variety of material (e.g., correspondence, invoices, contracts, meeting minutes, reports, speeches, and presentations) using word processing, presentation, graphics and spreadsheet software.
  • Coordinates internal and external meetings. This may include scheduling meeting times, making travel arrangements for attendees and ensuring that various meeting amenities are available.
  • Manages the appointments and schedules of staff in the unit.
  • Uses office equipment such as photocopiers, faxes and printers.
  • Performs other administrative tasks according to established guidelines and procedures so these activities are completed accurately and on time.
  • Activities may include distributing incoming mail, preparing outgoing mail, filing, maintaining office supplies or other inventory.
