What are the working hours for the Admissions Officer position?
The working hours for the Admissions Officer position are full time, 37.5 hours per week, including weekends on a rota basis.

Candidates should have customer care experience, experience of working with patient records, and familiarity with hospital systems such as IHCS, e-referral, infoflex, CRIS, and Microsoft applications. Proven relevant experience in a similar role is also expected.
What are the primary duties of the Admissions Officer?
Duties include managing day case waiting lists, booking endoscopy lists and outpatient pre-assessment appointments, supervising the day-to-day workload in reception and prepping areas, liaising with consultants on waiting list management, and ensuring compliance with the Data Protection Act.
Who will I be working with in the Endoscopy Admissions Team?
You will collaborate with sub-speciality Gastroenterology and Surgical teams, nursing staff, and other administrative personnel within the department to achieve common objectives.
Is prior experience with specific hospital systems mandatory?
While previous experience with systems such as IHCS, e-referral, infoflex, and CRIS is desired, a strong background in customer care and patient records management is essential.
