The service currently operates as a 6-day acute service, with future aims of becoming a 7-day acute service and a 6-day community service.
How will the Advanced Physiotherapist contribute to the multidisciplinary team?
The Advanced Physiotherapist will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, including a Clinical Lead OT, Clinical Lead SLT, and Team Lead, to promote consistent leadership and drive quality improvement.
Where are the main hospitals located that the service operates from?
The service operates from Furness General Hospital in Barrow, Royal Lancaster Infirmary, and Westmorland General Hospital in Kendal, as well as various community healthcare premises.
