Responsibilities

  • Advising and supporting site team with sampling procedures of Winu drilling programs to ensure sampling is up to required technical standards.
  • Routine monitoring, assessing and communicating key quality metrics to ensure analytic performance of laboratory suppliers is maintained to a high standard.
  • Being the key contact person for laboratory suppliers – perform regular laboratory visits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Writing the monthly, quarterly and annual QAQC reports.
  • Performing Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC) of field collected data to support Resource Estimation ensuring compliance with JORC and SEC requirements.
  • Undertaking an independent umpire audit of the laboratory performance via inter-lab assays checks.
  • Supporting improvement of procedures and pursue innovative process improvements for data collection, processing and geological modelling to ensure optimum delivery of resource estimates to mine planning.
  • Technically advise mentor and develop project team’s ability to accurately and completely collect and synthesis of all geological information, including downhole geophysical survey data.
  • Show leadership in a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance to safety standards and procedures.
  • Ad-hoc trips to Winu site.
