Responsibilities

  • Perform/assist with all launch, recovery, preflight/thru flight/Basic Post Flight inspections, ground handling, maintenance, engine runs, operational checkouts, and servicing.
  • Perform routine troubleshooting, installation, repair, and maintenance of all electro-mechanical and pneudraulic systems and components on the aircraft.
  • Responsible for the acceptableness of all electrical, hydraulic-pneumatic, propulsion, landing gear, flight control surfaces, periodic inspections, general airframe condition, aircraft furnishings, and crew escape system of the aircraft.
  • Will be required to remove panels and associated hardware to obtain access equipment requiring repair.
  • Performs a variety of mechanical duties involving diagnosis of malfunctions and required maintenance, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, re-assembly, or adjustment of various aircraft systems in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions, and FAA regulations.
