Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in the financial industry gained within an insurance company, asset manager, investment bank, consultancy, or similar institution
  • Proven track record of originating and negotiating financings across different products and on alternative credit asset classes
  • Broad practical experience in the design and implementation of investment and ALM strategies utilized by insurers, banks, pension funds when managing assets invested to meet liabilities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build relationships based on technical knowledge with clients and internal partner teams
  • Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
  • Network in the private markets' community, among lenders, GPs etc
  • Team worker with self-drive and a strong desire to contribute and make a difference

Responsibilities

  • Understand business partner organizations, offerings, strengths & weaknesses, and decision-making processes
  • Create and maintain dashboards to monitor relationships with business partners
  • Organize regular cross reviews of the business with key partners (GPs and Banks)
  • Maintain a clear vision of banks and alternative lenders financing offerings and build strong relationships with key financing providers
  • Liaise with Alternative Credit investment teams to understand desired financing features and align them with relevant fund terms and risk/return profiles
  • Organize market competition and source financing tailored to initial specifications
  • Provide formal and informal training to internal stakeholders as needed
  • Lead team initiatives for Fund Financing and proactively identify areas for improvement
  • Understand the regulatory framework applied to key clients across developed countries and its implications for investment needs
  • Support portfolio management, product strategy, and distribution channels with regulatory, accounting, and liability expertise
  • Engage senior officers at clients on their enterprise-wide priorities and propose regulatory efficient solutions
  • Promote AXA IM Alternative Credit products in clients' companies' balance sheets
  • Assist in the production of insurance/bank focused research and thought leadership publications
