Responsibilities

  • Complete and up to date data catalogue available for data discovery and data management
  • Assist in the implementation of relevant data governance policies and work closely with data stewards to enforce standards for data assets.
  • Work with data custodians and owner to Catalogue and document data assets, including databases, datasets, and data files so that any updates are constantly reflected within central repository.
  • Review metadata tags and data classification to enhance discoverability and ensure proper use of data.
  • Efficient use of data by stakeholders to minimize burden of data collection and maximize insights development.
  • Monitor and track usage of data assets to understand and report on patterns and trends.
  • Generate reports on data asset utilization and identify opportunities to optimize usage.
  • Current and complete reference data to ensure data integrity across data assets
  • Manage and maintain reference data sets, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining documentation for reference data standards and procedures.
  • Collaborate with data stewards to update and validate reference data regularly and resolve any data issues.
  • Single unified repository of business terms and KPIs to ensure alignment on definitions used across Four Seasons
  • Maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive business glossary that clearly aligns business terms with source data elements.
  • Collaborate with business units and subject matter experts to define and document business terms.
  • Ensure efficient issue resolution through data asset SME
  • Support other DG team members, Data Stewards, and Data Owners to resolve data quality and integrity issues.
