Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis and Visualization:
  • Gather requirements and translate business problems into structured quantitative analyses, dashboards, and/or reports.
  • Produce recurrent operational reports and dashboards that highlight opportunities on an ongoing basis.
  • ETL and Data Management:
  • Develop, test, and monitor ETL processes.
  • Design the Dimensional Data Model, Data Engineering Pipelines, Data Quality, and Validation rules based on business requirements.
  • Ingest data from various sources to the data lake and transform data for readiness in the data warehouse.
  • Create a data pipeline and ETL dashboard.
  • Serve as the system administrator for ETL tools.
  • Manage data integration tools (e.g., Fivetran, Rivery) and processes for ETL or ELT.
  • Data Quality and Integrity:
  • Monitor data hygiene inputs and outputs by continuously safeguarding data quality, integrity, privacy, and usability.
  • Documentation and Administration:
  • Create, maintain, and update documentation for data and other functional specifications.
  • Build and monitor dbt jobs, including scheduling new jobs if needed.
  • Monitor auto-ingestion processed files and create documentation of current tasks.
