This also extends to real estate investments and hedge funds; utilizing systems to analyze client asset allocation and assess the suitability of specific investments; and understanding different lending structures (SBL, PBLL, margin) that are available as well as the costs associated with these options.

Responsibilities

  • Work in client service, operational processes, and wealth management matters including, dealing with UHNI (Ultra High Net Worth Individuals) clients and with all matters relating to their account set up including account opening and maintenance, client statements and other types of reporting, account performance, analyzing account transactions, different types of account transfers, asset servicing and corporate actions, class actions, and private lending solutions.
  • Handle and facilitate bespoke nature of client requests – navigate the organization and evaluate the best way to facilitate client requests and ensure exceptional client experience.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely in a high-pressure environment in explaining complex documents like account opening documents, private equity subscription documents etc., to clients so they can comprehend it well.
  • Own multiple competing priorities and exercise appropriate judgment when prioritizing requests, along with ensuring progress is made on multiple open requests so that client service is not impacted.
  • Operate autonomously and meet deadlines with little oversight.
  • Converse about financial market topics, financial products, and current events impacting markets.
  • Analyze client accounts, and their positions and balances to be able to understand how best to deal with client requests, cash availability for outgoing wires or cash and security transfers.
  • Deal with client service for high-net-worth clients, preferably in private wealth management and/or its related financial operations.
  • Improve processes, developing controls, and creating efficiencies to streamline workflows.
  • Align closely with clients to execute long-term wealth management plans which may include estate planning, trust structuring, asset allocation, portfolio oversight, or selection of portfolio managers.
