The ideal candidate for this Assistant Accountant role should have a minimum 2:1 university degree in any discipline, with a strong passion for finance. They should be self-aware, able to contribute ideas, challenge norms, and drive change. Commercial acumen and a drive to continuously develop their skills are also essential.

The Assistant Accountant will participate in a three-year graduate programme, gaining experience in various accounting roles within Hastings Direct's Finance department. They will support key accounting teams and develop core competencies in financial accounts, reporting, analysis, and modeling.
