Requirements

0-1 year of experience with building automation systems, mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, computer science, OR equivalent. Working knowledge of basic electronics, logic, and systems design. Must have basic PC experience in Windows environments and knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, web-enabled applications, and database software. High School diploma.
SKILLS:
Read and understand mechanical, electrical, network, and wiring drawings. Manage professional e-mail communications. Manage and maintain a calendar and task management systems. Ability to present a professional, positive, and helpful attitude always. Must possess and maintain exceptional work ethic and timeliness. Must uphold company values and demand the highest level of conduct from self and others. Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work as part of a team and independently.
PREFERRED:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR equivalent certification. Computer networking experience. Java or SQL programming language experience.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair controls systems malfunctions. Conduct basic building control system installation, configuration, programming, testing, and repair.
Assist Automation Specialists in developing, building, testing, and commissioning building control systems. Respond to BAS emergencies during off hours. Prepare documentation and reports on work status and completion.
