Responsibilities

  • Design Team Support: Assist with setting up and maintaining product and fabric information in our Product Lifecycle Management System. Run reports, track styles, and support Senior Designers with special projects and daily tasks.
  • Trend and Market Research: Conduct selective research projects to identify new trends, fabrics, accessories, and techniques. Attend local dance recitals and competitions to stay ahead of current trends.
  • Technical Skills Development: Create technical flats, work closely with mentors to fit prototypes, and fit photo samples for shoots after receiving training.
  • Communication Excellence: Demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills. Use sound judgment and accountability in all interactions.
  • Business Analytics: Analyze sales data, competitor assortments, pricing, and presentations to inform design decisions.
  • Quality Collaboration: Work with the Product Development team to ensure all products meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Creative Design Training: Receive comprehensive training in illustration, flat sketching, fitting, and trend translation. Learn to deliver creative concepts with commercial appeal and meet sales and margin targets.
