Responsibilities

  • Serve as a point of contact at the Company to deal with sustainability issues.
  • The responsibilities include attending meetings/conference on sustainability topics on division’s behalf and report it back to Director.
  • Assist with planning, organising and implementing seminars and internal/external meetings on issues related to sustainability, such as Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI).
  • Plan, organise and implement social contribution activities of the Company so it can contribute to the local community/maritime industry/maritime education.
  • Conduct research on UK/EU legislation/regulatory discussion on sustainability and how those would affect the Company and prepare the reports.
  • Assist in monitoring and researching regional environmental regulations in EU or in the UK that are to affect the maritime industry.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to ensure that sustainability compliance is integrated into business decision making.
