Requirements

  • Building Surveying degree (or equivalent qualification).
  • Ability to demonstrate good all-round surveying knowledge / expertise.
  • Desire to develop a career within a consultancy environment.
  • Committed to work towards RICS Chartered status.
  • Good team working skills.
  • Good IT skills, Word and Excel as a minimum. Knowledge of CAD systems would be an advantage.
  • Full understanding of the importance of Health and Safety requirements.
  • Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out measured and condition surveys, inspections, schedules etc and the overall management of minor works projects.
  • Responsibility, under minimum supervision, for smaller projects and assistance on major projects with supervision and support where required.
  • Design and Specification including the preparation of drawings.
  • Attendance at / and leading on meetings with clients and other technical specialists; Contributing technical skills and knowledge to the team in order to maintain and improve the quality of our work and the expertise of our people.
  • Managing the client relationship and service delivery on a project-by-project basis in conjunction with senior colleagues.
  • Assisting with the development of new and repeat business where possible.
