  • This is an infrastructure design position with minimum 10 years’ experience. Responsibilities

  • Create and lead solution designs for internal customers and help scoping of requirements to meet business needs.
  • Develop project rationale and perform scoping assessments to determine feasibility of projects
  • Must be able to handle the assigned portfolio as per Novartis Function and manage multiple project simultaneously.
  • Will be required to interact with various stakeholders at the business functional level and provide assistance on any infrastructure-related issues in collaboration with teams.
  • Understand the business requirements, design and deliver end-to-end infrastructure solutions as per Novartis Infrastructure standards
  • Proficiency on AWS services like EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, EBS, EFS, ASG, IAM, ELB, Data sync, Route53, EKS, ECS etc.,
  • Ensure overall user experience is taken into account when designing and deploying new solutions and services
  • Ensure implemented solutions are according to specifications and fit for purpose
  • Ensure designs produced adhere to architectural roadmap and support the development, execution and operations of software/service
  • Experience in the entire rack stack (e.g. storage, compute, Unix, Windows, virtualization, containerization, networking for traditional datacenters as well as public cloud)
  • Strong experience on LAN, WAN, and related networking concepts around Private and public cloud connectivity
  • Understanding of GxP compliance environment would be an added benefit
  • Translate the business requirement in a presentable manner in-line with organizational standards
  • Plays a key leading role in ensuring the successful end-to-end infrastructure solution
  • Provides technical guidance and support throughout engagement.
  • Hands on experience in the related areas is required. Participate in various PoC’s to provide solution around leading edge technologies.
  • Adoption & getting to the expert level with the usage of tools like Confluence, MPP, Draw.io, PowerPoint.
  • Leverage existing experience within & outside the organization that the candidate has gathered to bring the best to the team.
