Responsibilities

  • Lead the Franchise Medical team and represent Medical Franchise in the country Medical leadership team to develop the Franchise strategy aligned with business priorities and execute it through an operational Franchise Medical Plan
  • Lead the cross-functional Franchise Medical Team to ensure optimal collaboration within the country and Global Teams
  • Strategically influence and collaborate with senior leaders of different functions and other external relevant partners to support the Medical Product plans, clinical development, scientific communications and medical expert engagement plans
  • Provide coaching and talent development opportunities to direct reports and managing performance reviews
  • Drive and role model the culture and values and behaviors of the company across their teams
  • Maintain and drive the standards of medical and scientific excellence in the country Franchise through recruitment, training development and technical development of associates
  • Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt
  • Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable)
