Responsibilities

  • We have a brilliant opportunity to join DAS Law (part of ARAG UK) as an Associate in our Employment Team, to be based on a hybrid basis, either fully remotely or based from our central Bristol or Bedwas offices.
  • The Employment department deals with all aspects of employment law including litigation and advisory work for both employees and employers. The type of work the team deals with on a day-to-day basis includes advising on unfair dismissal claims, discrimination and whistle blowing. The work is very varied and no one case is the same as another.
  • As well as acting for employees and employers during the litigation process we also provide advisory HR services, such as advising on employee handbooks and the drafting of employment contracts to support and guide businesses through the complexity of employment law requirements. The team also deals with its own advocacy.
  • We encourage early responsibility with a real emphasis on creating opportunities to promote our lawyers from within the team. This means you will gain real “hands on” experience across a broad range of claims and defences and will become an expert on employment law and negotiation and settlement tactics.
