  • Previous experience with Life Science translation is a plus, but it's not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Provides high quality and accurate translations as part of a larger project team.
  • Effectively understands source language content and applies appropriate style and terminology to the target language.
  • Utilizes organizational and time management skills to deliver assignments on time and within budget.
  • Meets required standards for quality by understanding and correctly applying RWS's linguistic and project processes and procedures.
  • May provide linguistic quality assurance (QA) testing of localized translations.
  • Effectively learns and utilizes translation tools to ensure the highest quality output.
  • Learns important translation and linguistic tools by actively participating in both formal and informal learning opportunities such as training programs and on-the-job experience.
  • Applies learnings to develop higher levels of proficiency in translation skills, specialized knowledge (e.g., industry, linguistic), and cultural standards associated with source and target languages.
