Requirements

  • A Qualified Solicitor (SRA or Law Society Registered) from NQ up to 5 year's PQE
  • Previous restructuring experience gained in a similar legal setting
  • A forward thinker, with excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills, you will be self-motivated with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines
  • Commercially aware with enthusiasm for business development, and an appetite for keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in your practice area and sector focus
  • Able to understand your client’s business needs, and act in the best interest of the firm and the client
  • An ambitious and enthusiastic team player, able to support senior fee earners and contribute to our collaborative culture

Responsibilities

  • A varied caseload of work comprising mainly contentious matters
  • Providing expert advice to insolvency practitioners, corporate clients, directors, creditors, leading banks and other lenders and financial institutions
  • Advising on the appointment of insolvency office holders and assisting them in their roles
  • Advising lenders on their security and enforcement options
  • Collaborating closely with colleagues across our other office locations, contributing to our full service national restructuring practice
  • Business development opportunities, nurturing existing as well as new client relationships
