Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in finance/Accounting/Economics or related field with focus on valuation methods (B. Com, B.Sc. with Economics Hons)

  • Valuation-related work including but not limited to solid experience of constructing and reviewing valuation models such as: DCF, comparable company / bond, option pricing model (knowledge of building breakpoints), waterfall allocation methods etc.
  • Understanding of Debt & Equity industry, Startup and VC funding, and understanding capital structure of private company.
  • End to end understanding of various nuances in arriving at fair valuation of private company’s shares.
  • Analyze key financial metrics depending on the portfolio company’s industry, identify historical trends and perform calibration analysis to understand the key drivers causing the changes in the company's valuation in each reporting period.
  • Playing a role in discussions, proactively ask questions and share an informed point of view.
